We'll get the job done!
We are a family owned business that has been working in the industry since late 1984. Founder Dick Baker and President Louis Belletini are ironworkers that came up through the field as Foremen and have been hands on from the start.
What started as a stair installation company has branched out to a wide variety of projects. From glass guard rails, elevator pit ladders, flag poles to entire building structures. We currently run 12 crew trucks with men that are hand picked by experience.
We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and the fact that we're willing to try anything once. We never walk away from job and have been called in on projects that others have said were impossible. We always get it done!
We've done $350 pit ladders to $2,500,000 contracts. We've completed every job we have ever started. Most of our work currently consists of hospital and higher education projects.

We are very proud of our safety record and are committed to sending our employees safely home to their families each day.
At Bake’s Steel Erectors, safety is the foundation of everything we build. Our commitment to safety ensures that every employee, craftworker, and contractor returns home unharmed each day. Through continuous training, strict adherence to OSHA standards, proactive hazard identification, and a culture of accountability, we've achieved and maintained an EMR of 0.78. Safety isn’t optional—it’s a core value that shapes our planning, performance, and decision-making on every site.
Each project is carefully evaluated to create a comprehensive safety strategy tailored to its unique challenges. These plans include Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSP), Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), Material Handling Plans (MHP), and detailed equipment specifications. Our union ironworkers, superintendents, and project managers are extensively trained and certified, including:
● OSHA 30-Hour
● IMPACT Drug-Free Workforce Program compliance
● First Aid/CPR
● Weekly on-site Toolbox Talks
● Welding, Forklift & Aerial Lift Certifications
● Qualified Rigger & Crane Signaling Certifications
